The Ultimate CF SLX 8 Disc LTD celebrates Alpecin-Fenix and Arkea-Samsic – the Canyon-riding teams which had wildcard entries to the big race in France in 2021. Only 108 models will be available, honouring the 108th running of the world’s biggest cycling race.
Asymmetrical Tech Box
The bike’s frame is embellished with a design styled like back of a classic playing card. Unlike other Canyon models, the tech box on the Ultimate CF SLX 8 Disc LTD is placed asymmetrically on the seat tube. The box features a summary of technical information about the bike, stylishly integrated into the striking artwork.
Card games: a cycling tradition
There is a long tradition of card playing in cycling culture. Even in Eddy Merckx’s day, pros spent time between stages in epic hours-long playing card sessions. Playing card terms like poker face and bluff even feature prominently in road cycling parlance.
Team Arkea-Samsic raced on the Ultimate LTD
