Konstantin Grcic is an industrial designer based in Berlin. One of the most influential names in his field, Grcic has a range of iconic, award-winning designs in his portfolio – while heading up a studio making a mark in the fields of industrial, exhibition, and furniture design. And now, Grcic has turned his hand to the world of cycling. The result is something truly special.
Engineered beauty
Flaunting Grcic’s progressive style, this bike has a unique aesthetic, with iridescent elements that shimmer in the light. The highlight: each rectangular special-effect decal creates constantly changing reflections – their appearance shifting depending on the viewer’s angle. This Ultimate is daring, unique, and extraordinary.
One decal covers the Canyon downtube logo. Grcic explains: “the Ultimate is… a manifestation of Canyon’s performance DNA. With its precise lines, clean design, and uniquely pared-back form, it stands out from the pack. That means the Canyon branding isn’t strictly necessary. Riders with an expert eye can still pick it out, and that’s what counts.” This is a truly unique, special bicycle.

Despite its beauty this bike wasn't built to sit in a display case or exhibition – it was built for racing and everyday riding. With wireless 12-speed SRAM shifting, an integrated power meter, and deep-section carbon wheels, the Ultimate LTD ticks all the boxes.
"It was a challenge to make graphics for a frame with such a diverse set of lines and angles. The design became more abstract – pared down, with fewer elements, but ones that were more striking."
